Brief Description:  flap ripple and attach alignment

back riveted trailing edges on both flaps - nice and straight now!

Spent the morning researching repair for misaligned center attach holes, talked with Vans engineer to discuss possible options, then dug back into my A&P books and AC4313-1B to figure out possible fixes. A couple options:

1. shift hole in wing bracket, redrill 1/4" and use existig hole in flap bracket, as long as 1.5 D edge clearance can be met. Don't think we will have the edge clearance, but ordered a selection of oil-impregnated bronze bushing to give it a try. Also not sure I like leavin the flap bracket 'as is', since we already know it can cause ripple if not perfectly aligned.

2. cut wing bracket in half, splice in longer replacement piece, redrill 1/4 or 5/16 for ANf4 or 5 bolt, Again, decide if we want to leave flap holes 'as is' , or drill to -5.

I think I prefer option 2 with -5 hardware, that way we can get a PERFECT alignment and not worry anymore about ripple.
