Success! Fabricated new attach pivot point and doublers, layed out for AN3 bolts, 3 on each half plus a couple AN4 rivets to close up gaps. Just barely had enough edge and bolt-to-bolt clearance on pivot part. Pivot bolt is now AN5 (need to order a longer drilled one). Originally planned on just drilling flap brackets oversize, but original holes were offset too much so needed to cut down some collared bearings and insert them on each side. They will be bonded permanently with epoxy so they don't spin. All holes final reamed. Finished product looks a little beefy, but it is structural so important to meet AC4313 guidelines. Anyway it will not often be seen since it is under the wing.
Flap is now straight, no ripples, and center pivot bolt is centered and can be inserted and removed freely in any flap position.
Cut parts for the other wing at the same time so it will go together quickly. Will finish other wing tomorrow.
