Brief Description: Installed Light Mounts to Wing Tips
My kit came with optional wing tip light mounts. I fitted the mounts in what seemed to be the most appropriate place and marked the wing tips. I cut a hole in the wing tips to gain access to the back of the light mounts. I drilled holes to cleco the mounts in place. I made up an epoxy using fiberglass resin and secured the mounts in place using a little Vaseline on the clecos to keep the fiberglass from sticking.
I’ll need to use a little body filler do some sanding to make a smooth transition and nice finish.
