Brief Description:  Fabric Plates

I’ve been working on and off for several days on the fabric plates. It was difficult cutting them precisely without a band saw .Each of them was a custom fit. I decided to joggle the plates where the meet the trailing edge of the wing and leading edge of the flap/aileron. The manual shows each plate mounted to the surface and then using bondo to smooth out the transition. By
joggling the edge of the plates they will fit under the intersecting material and make a smoother transition. That means much less bondo, good thing! However each plate was custom made and took a long time. I hope it was worth the effort. I got the idea for joggling the parts from a post by sheepdogRD on the Just Forum. The EAA Hints For Homebuilders video on how to make the joggle was a big help.
