I finished the rear floorboards using a technique I learned at the Just factory last November. Normally the floor boards are installed and then the elevator push rod is installed over the floor boards. The push rod cover is attached to the floorboards with self-tapping screws. If done this way it is not possible to remove the floorboards without first removing the elevator pushrod. Very inconvenient.
I had previously fitted the floorboards and elevator push rod cover. I cut out the floorboards under the push rod guard and then cut the push rod guard between the two floorboards. I riveted the push rod cover to the floorboards with 1/8 X 1/4”aluminum rivets. Now the floorboards can be installed and removed without disturbing the elevator pushrod.
