Today I fabricated the boot cowl panels from .020 aluminum stock. These will be held in place with screws into riv -nuts and will be easy to remove to give access to the back of the instrument panel for maintenance. Thanks to those who shared this idea. I still need to bend the bottom of each panel so it will fit under the bottom of the frame. I’ll do this later when I get to a friend’s shop with a brake.
I also did some final fitting of the window frames. They are ready to be epoxied in place.
