Finally got the seats installed. I worked on this previously but I couldn’t get the adjuster rails to fit the seat bushings without galling. I bought a ¾” reamer and worked on the bushings for quite a while, then smoothed the inside of the bushings with 400g emery paper. With a generous amount of white lithium grease I was finally able to get the rails to move smoothly. The rest of the installation was pretty straightforward, just fitting and drilling. As soon as I get the airframe on its landing gear I’ll have a seat and make airplane noises.
