The fuel pump assembly from Viking Engine arrived about a week ago. I installed the fuel pumps behind the aft baggage area bulkhead. There are hard points there provided by the factory originally for mounting a battery. Originally I planned to put the fuel pumps under the pilot seat but they wouldn’t fit well there. I mounted the pumps on a piece of .032 aluminum and bolted the aluminum to the hard points on the airframe. The fuel pump assembly has low pressure fuel filters on the intake side of the pumps. A high pressure filter is recommended by Viking between the pumps and the engine. I mounted the high pressure filter in the same area using padded clamps.
I ran the fuel lines from the header tank to the pumps and to the firewall. I ran out of fuel hose so I have one small section left to do. Then I need to clamp all the high pressure fittings with Oetiker clamps.
