I had another set of boss' welded to the tank that puts the sight gauge between the tank and the right side of the fuselage.
I drilled and taped all the holes needed for feeding fuel to and from the tank. I installed all the hose fittings using Turn sealant. I have one extra hole drilled and taped that I will cover with a pipe plug just in case I ever need another fitting for a vent or something. It’s much easier to drill and tap it now rather than after it has been in service.
