I mounted the header tank using Adel clamps. As seen in the photo, the boss' for the sight gauge are mounted in a poor location. If I mount the sight gauge there it will be vulnerable to damage from cargo shifting in flight. I’m going to get boss' welded on the tank so the sight gauge will be mounted between the tank and the fuselage in a more protected spot.
I also made a couple of brackets to support the fuel hose between the wing and the header tank. These will attach to the turtle deck attach points under the nut plates. I used .032 aluminum and bent them using the same technique I used to form the bottom of the boot cowls.
