Brief Description:  End Rib & Leading Edge End Rib

Forgot to take some pics so will supplement later. Time was kind of short so I knocked out two items:

1. I plugged the tooling hole in the outboard end rib of the right tank. Using an AN6 rivet, cut to the proper length, I squeezed this in place and covered front/back with ProSeal. This was a new batch of ProSeal from Van's and it was significantly different from what I was used to. This stuff set up much more quickly, and I was barely able to cover the AN6 before it congealed into a rubbery compound, probably within 30 minutes. I'll have to be careful with this stuff. Unfortunate because my desire was to continue covering the flanges of the last few ribs.

2. As previously reported, I tore the end-rib on the leading edge inboard side. I now have the replacement in place, but must drill it in place to match the transition plate and previously drilled skin-holes. I now have the rib drilled on the bottom flange with cleco's holding it in place, and I have marked the rib flange after lining up the skin and transition plate holes. Hopefully i can match drill the new rib by lining up the skin and transition plate. Hoping this works. Otherwise I'll have wasted another thirty bucks.

That's it for now. I'm off to work this evening and won't be back until Friday night.
