Brief Description: Cleco'd, Drilled Ribs and Skinned the Port Side HS
8-29 & 8-30:
Two good days of work! This thing is starting to look like a piece to a real airplane. Prepped the ribs again, this time using 150 grit emory cloth to reach the hard to get places. Then I Fluted the Ribs to compensate for the bend due to making the flange. Sounded difficult at first, but piece of cake once you get started. Made sense as soon as I made the first Flute.
Drilled spars and various rib flanges iaw manual. Finished off by instlaling the port side HS Skin. Then match drilled HS-405, along with Spar HS-702.
Fantastic night and felt like we did a LOT of work. Still waiting for replacement HS-404 to arrive.
