Brief Description: Mounting VA-146 Bearing and Brackets
Stopped by the hangar for 30 minutes on way home and drilled out the Bearing Mount Brackets on VA-146. Learned to secure small items when drilling, otherwise they spin in your hand and cleco's and clamps go flying everywhere. Enlarged holes to #30 and then remounted to Spar Stiffeners. Next step is to prime the bearing. Trying to buy the Sherwin-Williams P60G2 this coming weekend. Otherwise will use a can of Zinc Chromate that I had in the locker. So far so good. Lots of fun and can't wait to get to the hangar after work.
