Well, after screwing up the first trim tab, I was bound and determined to do this one right! I learned my lesson about not drawing lines before grinding or sanding on the belt sander.
With a dozen minute adjustments and finely drawn lines (thanks Jeremy!), I was finally able to get things lined up with the minimum 3/32 inch gap called for in the plans.
