Brief Description: Painted Left Elevator and Riveted the Right
Turned my single car garage into a paint booth this weekend. Just too cold down at the hangar for things to flow right.
Screwed up on one side of the elevator trying to get the paint gun settings right. Finally figured it out so the other panel looks great. Sounds simple, but found that spraying the plastic sheet allows me to see the flow pattern and concentration. Tweaked everything in doing that and it worked great afterwards.
Then it was off to the hangar. Started riveting of the Right Elevator. So far so good. Things lookin great. Some of the dimples seem a little deep. Hopefully the top of the Elevator will look better.
Will stop again tomorrow after work. Want to finish up the Right Elevator so that I can wrap this thing up soon. Wing kit arrives on Thursday!!!!
