Brief Description: Engine parameter sensors- Part 3.
I decided not to install the Dynon Manifold Pressure Sensor on the firewall and selected a spot on the forward side of the left hand gear tower. I fabricated a mounting bracket and attached it with a couple of blind rivets. I bolted the sensor in place and crimped on the pins to the appropriate Dynon EMS 120 wire harness and snapped them into the 'Weather Pack' plug. I will check the sensor is functioning correctly next time I connect the battery and energize the D120. The MAP should read ambient atmospheric pressure. I will just need to connect a hose (with ¼” I.D.) to the engine MAP port to a bulkhead fitting on the firewall then finally to the sensor input.
