Brief Description: Cut and deburred T-711 tank stiffeners.
I used my left and right hand Irwin tin snips to cut out the T-711 tank stiffeners. The little line up holes Vans drills makes this process pretty quick. Then I rounded the corners on my bench mounted sanding disk. Then I smoothed all edges with my large Scotch Bright wheel. I clecoed them in place onto each tank skin and used my #40 reamer turning slowly in a cordless drill to match drill them. Next up is to debur the drill holes, but I’ll leave that for tomorrow.
