Brief Description: Drilled provisions for wiring conduit.
I used a Unibit to drill a 3/4" hole in all the left wing ribs at the Vans recommended location then opened up the lower forward tooling hole on the first 9 ribs to accommodate the A of A plumbing lines that I have ordered from SafeAir1. (It's used for the Dynon system). I also drilled a #30 hole at the bottom edge of the second largest lightening hole to accommodate a nylon tie strap that can be used to secure another length of conduit if I should need to in the future. Vans recommends this to be located on the largest lightening hole but I want to keep that one clear so there is no chance of interference with the aileron pushrod and bellcrank assembly.
