I got started on the installation of my wing tip lights. I'm using the Van's tip extensions [Part No. LN W/TIP MOUNT PAIR] to better position the lights to improve their visibility from above. I purchased a set of 3 in 1 Andromeda Nav/Pos/Strobe LED lights from Aveo Engineering. They are very nice and very bright but are expensive at more than $1100. I riveted on some floating Platenuts to accept some stainless steel No. 6 mounting screws. Tomorrow I will work on the placement and installation of the extensions on the tips themselves.
