Brief Description: Pitot tube installation - Part 4.
I wanted to minimize the bend radius of the pitot lines so I routed them away from the main spar aft and through a hole in a wing rib to the base of the Pitot tube mast. I fabricated a simple bracket and attached a couple of 1/4" nylon clamps to secure the lines in place. I ran the lines underneath the bell crank assembly and secured them with a couple of nylon tie wraps. I don't like this method because I think there is potential for the adhesive to dry out and fail down the road. I started to build a proper retention bracket to replace these nylon things and will tie it into the two outboard bell crank bolts.
