Brief Description: Prepared Rudder leading edge for rolling.
I primed an inch or so of the leading edge of the rudder, then edge rolled in preparation for rolling and riveting the leading edge. I used a 1" pipe and duct tape as described in the instruction manual. Even though I used this method with reasonable success in the construction of my Aileron training kit this proved to be considerably more difficult with the rudder. The skin is thicker and more therefore more difficult to form. Caution when using the Avery Edge Roller. Keep a constant angle and don't stop or you may end up introducing a wave to the edge you are working.
