Brief Description: Riveted Rudder skin to understructure.
After 6 weeks away at work, I'm back and hard at work on the Rudder assembly. I enlarged a few holes on the R-710 horn brace to accept blind rivets then applied RTV joint compound to the end of the stiffeners. Then squeezed the rivets joining the skin and the understructure. I needed my 4" no-hole yoke for a few of them and blind rivets for the horn brace and the lower trailing edge. I think the flush head blind rivets look fine. I had no problems with the riveting and did not have to drill a single one out. Next up is rolling the leading edge.
