Brief Description: Riveted L/H Rudder skin to skeleton.
My very useful buddy Sean did a great job holding the Bucking Bar while I did the easy job of working the rivet gun. It took a while to develop a system for this, but in the end we were very happy with the final result. In fact we didn't have to drill out a single rivet!I used a swivel mushroom set on my 3X gun for all but the edge rivets and used the Main-Squeeze for those. Sean used my Tungsten Bucking Bar and agrees it was worth the extra money.Setting the gun at about 38 PSI with 1 full second on the trigger seemed to do the trick on the small skin rivets. Sean came up with the idea of marking the end of the bucking bar to more easily centre it under the rivet hole. (Patent pending).
