I checked the proper alignment between the rudder and vertical stabilizer end caps and then fabricated a balsa block to close off the end of it. I used West System epoxy to secure it in place and will install some BID glass cloth on the back side where it meets the cap to make it permanent. I also mixed in some micro balloons to the remaining epoxy and applied it to the front face. I'll sand that smooth tomorrow.
