I positioned the vertical stabilizer and adjusted it so it was perfectly square to the fuselage then carefully marked the bolt hole locations on the vertical stabilizer aft spar and drilled holes to accommodate AN4 bolts. Take note of the revision to the dimensions on DWG 73 View A-A which shows the distance of 1-23/32" instead of 7/8" between the two upper bolts and the one lower bolt. This left me with more than sufficient edge distance for all three bolts. Next I adjusted the leading edge of the VS using the method described in the instruction manual then clamped and drilled the F-884 attach plate and F-885 spacer to the VS front spar.
