I used a maroon Scotchbrite pad with some Lacquer Thinner to scuff all surfaces of the components that will make up the cockpit floors. I like to do this before I set the dimples because it makes it easier to clean off the pad residue without all those dimples to catch bits of the paper towel. Then I dimple countersunk all 3/32" rivet holes in the cockpit floors and stiffeners. Next up is to do a final surface preparation and prime.
