Brief Description: Grove landing gear installation-Part 4.
I successfully drilled the many bolt holes required to secure the main landing gear legs to the fuselage. I used new Cobalt bits turning slowly with lots of pressure and lube. Thankfully the holes are nicely centered in the gear weldments leaving good edge distance and room for the nuts. In Image one there is a temporary 7/16" bolt (non aviation) that will be replaced by the proper bolt when the final installation in completed.
