Brief Description: Grove landing gear installation-Part 1.
I started the installation of the Grove airfoiled landing gear by match drilling the U-806 wear plates using the U-804 inboard brackets as guides. I used a brand new cobalt drill bit on my press turning at 500 rpm with a lot of cutting fluid and firm pressure. I put one leg in place and lightly tightened the nut from below. Sometimes you have to be inventive when you don't have a second pair of hands to help.
