I bent the two upper longerons (F-887) as per DWG 66. I followed Van's instructions and they turned out pretty good. I snapped a line on the floor of my garage and checked for proper deflection and made small adjustments as required. I finished up by adding the slight curve in F-844. I didn't use a hammer, I just used my hands and put a gentle bend in it every couple of inches. They also turned out fine.
