Brief Description: More deburring and surface preparation on Seat Rib
I completed the deburring and polishing of all edges on all the components that make up the Seat Rib Subassembly. Then I got started on scuffing up the surfaces of the seat ribs with a Maroon ScotchBright pad. I like to do this step before I dimple the rivet holes along the rib flange. I find if I dimple first, the raised dimples tear away at the paper towels when wiping excess Acetone from the parts. I will finish the rest up tomorrow.
