Brief Description:  Inverted fuel system sender installation.

If you decide to go with the inverted fuel system in one or both of your tanks and want to use the float type fuel quantity senders it (they) must be installed in the second bay over from the most inboard tank rib. I measured the height of the sender in its normal position to determine the correct vertical position in the second bay. Then I used my doubler (that I cut out from the standard access plate) to mark the horizontal position. I used my fly cutter on a drill press to make the hole. Then I simply used my doubler to back drill the screw holes and the nut plate rivet holes. Don't forget there is a left and a right hand sender and to position the sender so it points down towards the bottom of the tank.
