I started out by deburring all the parts for the inverted fuel system modification, the anti-rotation bracket and the T-410 for the tank outboard ribs. Then I completed the trap door. The plans are pretty vague on this modification so it took me a while to decide how I wanted to do it. I put a 0.020" doubler under the top hinge so it would be on the same plane as the lower hinge. It looks like I used 4 rivets on the top hinge portion but in fact there are only three that penetrate the rib. The rivet that falls over the reinforcing groove is actually just between the hinge and the doubler. At first I planned on using a small portion of hinge as a pin retainer but in the end just tucked it under the portion that bends away from the rib used to keep the door from going to far up. The door works well and there is no binding on the hinge.
