I got started on the canopy latching system; I began by rounding the exterior latch handle as per the plans then I applied a dab of Torque Seal to the locking pin on the forward roll bar then slid the latch assembly in place and pressed the latch up against the torque seal to indicate the proper spot to drill a 1/4" hole. I drilled the hole then trimmed off the excess material and installed the hardware and bushings. Then I installed the latch assembly to check for proper function. I will install the spring and exterior latch handle tomorrow.
