I continued work on the joint plate and pull handle. I used Duct Tape to hold the aft end together tightly and positioned the plate on top to match drill into the skirt. When I repositioned the plate to the underside there was a narrow gap at the joint. I decided to fabricate another joint plate and this time I will cleco the left had skirt to the plate underneath then tape both sides together and match drill from the right hand skirt into the new joint plate. This should make a tight fit.
