I decided to add a few more 'landmark cleco's' (3 additional ones per side for a total of 10). This will help with correctly locating the canopy on its frame when I apply the U295 adhesive. But, more importantly I figured these extra cleco's (especially on the aft portion) will be needed when fitting the skirts. I finished up by making up a test rig that simulates the materials and gap I have between the canopy and its frame. I'll apply U295 to this test rig and check it for sufficient strength after its cured.
