I drilled and installed the side rails for the canopy frame. I marked then trimmed off the aft end of the rails to be flush with the fuselage sides as per DWG 44. The gap at the front where the frame and roll bar meet are not exactly the same on both sides but this is common and Vans says is inconsequential as the fiberglass fairing covers this interface completely. Otherwise all other dimensions and positions are good and the frame slides nicely through its full travel.
