I strapped the canopy frame to a 2 X 6 to isolate the aft bow and applied slow and steady pressure to lower it so it will be at the specified distance from the center canopy rail. I also had to make a small adjustment to the width of the frame at the aft most vertical support rib. I braced up the frame with 2 X 4's cut to length and applied pressure using an adjustable 'Herc' strap. It took about 2.5 inches of deflection to yield a total reduction of width of about 4 mm! I put the frame back on the fuselage and confirmed it was all good now.
