Bought lead weights from a dive shop and bought a cauldron with laddle from a shop that specializes in fishing lures. I used a burner from a turkey fryer to melt the lead. Turned out very well. To hold up the cylinder while pouring, I screwed 2 small sections of 2x4 with a brace that held the cylinder snug. I used a 40lb hand held digital scale with a hook to weigh the cylinder and lead . Came out to weigh 14.3 lbs.
