Brief Description:  More Rt Wing Work

Todays work session consisted of finishing the Rt wing details. After running the corrigated tube through the wing, I ran a #14 wire to the landing light. I drilled and grounded the light to the 2nd rib. Checked with the owm meter and had no more resistance than with touching the probes together. Hooked the wire to a battery and the light "WORKS".

Ididnt like the way I ran the wire for the wing servo. When I put the bolt in the bellcrank, it was too close to the wire sleeve. So I drilled a 3/8 hole in the upper side of the rib and rerouted the wire through that. Still used the Adel clamp to stabilize the wire run. Looks good and should not interfer with any bellcrank movement.

Since I had more time to work today, I decided to fit the Flap to the Rt Wing. Reviewer the videos, Looked at other websites and jumped right in to get it installed. Spent quite a bit of time measuring and checking for trailing edge evenness with the Aileron. After checking the edge clearence for the hinge, I found that I needed the flap to be 1/6 in forward of the aileron to insure good edge clearence. The difference in hardly noticable. took Drilled the hinge and removed it for deburring, triming, cleaning and priming.
