Mock up the fuselage tail. I am now moving into the garage for the big assembly. I made some sawhorses that I can level both side to side but also up and down. The garage floor has some slope in it so I needed to be able to compensate for that.
It was so cool to put together a section this large, it really is motovating and encouaging to see!! As I installed the J-stringers I discovered that I had not modified the ends correctly. The plans showed modification to one of the stringers, a cutout on the end, but no real mention that all of the stringers needed the same modification. I removed each stringer and made the modification to each one. Everything fits nicely, what a great feeling!
