Cut the hole for the connector. The Molex connectors will clip into the metal so they are retained in the hole. The connector on the other side will just plug in. Hopefully this will give me a point for testing without having to dive into the tail.
The poor frog is becoming the unofficial mascot of the project. Paul Branson found it in the belly of the Cessna while routing some wires for an experimental photo mission. He probably is left over from the days the Cessna was in Florida flight school hell. Perfectly preserved and very skinny he must have had a long slow death. He has a place of honor overseeing the work as it progresses on the RV.
