Installed the new correct flap rods and set travel. This worked much better. The flaps retract almost flush to the fuselage and travel to 38.5 degrees. I have the side to side angles to within .2 degrees of each other. Adjusted the ailerons to the correct center trim level as per plans. When I made the rods I held the tolerances very close to the plans. After installing the rods into the wings I set up the aileron centering tool made earlier. I checked and checked and the control sticks were vertical and the ailerons were exactly in the center of the tool! What a great kit. Build to the correct tolerances and it really does work.
