Brief Description: Fab static line clamps and mount
Fabricate static line clamps. The little aluminum straps bent to hold the line seemed to be the best alternative. I didn't feel that I needed to go to the trouble of planning Adel clamps and nutplates. The straps will mount on the rivets that hold the turtledeck skins. I made them just large enough for the hose to slip through so in the furtue if I need to replace or remove the hose it should slip right out. Purchased fittings from Spruce because the Vans fittings left a little too much to the imagination. I will have both static lines from the ports route upward to the top of the bulkhead to a 'T'. I needed a street elbow for height issues and the local Ace Aircraft store had just what I needed. After mocking everything up I think it will be just fine. Simple, elegant and clean. Now if I only knew how the other end will be at the instrument panel everything would be alright.
