Measure and drill holes in skin for the static ports. I decided that the Vans pop-rivet method would work just fine but I really wanted a little more professional look. I bought a couple of ports from Aircraft Spruce. The next problem was where to run the static hose. The plans showed holes in the ribs along the left side and I drilled those previously. The 705 bulkhead did not show any such holes through it. After looking at the plans again I still didn't see where the hose should run through the bulkhead. This must be part of the 51%. Based upon the current information, since the canopy has yet to be built, I picked the best spot and made a hole. I hope it will be alright.
