Match drill all holes, debur. Cut aileron pushrod hole. I mounted this plate and marked the hole. Then mounted a unibit into the drill press. With the plate securely clamped to a piece of wood about 1ft long I 'milled' the hole. I set the table so the bit was just through the material (I drilled it first) then by holding the ends of the wood I was able to 'mill' the hole by guiding the unibit around the marked line. The unibit did not cut too quickly so control was easy. I cut about 1/32 to 1/16 short and then was able to file to match the spar. Next came the riveting. As you can see these parts only get rivets in a few locations at this point. Note to self, READ CAREFULY, UNDERSTAND, MARK PARTS, and lastly DOUBLE CHECK. I didn't screw up but the potential was there. It least I should say. at this time I don't think I have screwed up.
