Brief Description: proseal baffle plate and rivet tank closed
Clean and prep for the baffle plate installation. OK, ready, set, go for it. Since this was the second tank I was much neater than the first time. Got a nice bead on the inside, not real messy on the outside. I did countersink the rivet holes on the skin about 2-3 thousands deeper to help get the rivets more flush. Last tank I drilled out a bunch of rivets that stood up a bit too proud. This time they all came out very nicely. I will not have to drill a single one out. I also installed the brackets correctly. Last time I got one of the end brackets turned around the wrong way. Thank goodness it was an end bracket and easy to drill and re-rivet after everything had hardened. So left tank complete!
