Brief Description: Mount spar, countersink, rivet nutplates
Mounted the right spar onto the fixture. Countersunk holes, coleco nutplates, and rivet. Done. Today I was like an old hand at countersinking. I did one step that made it a lot smoother than on the other wing. After countersinking I stick a rivet into the hole to make sure that the head will be flush. If it stands up a little proud I debur slightly and it will just lay flush to the surface. Then I know when I go to squeeze rivets they will all come out flush. On the left spar I drilled out a couple of rivets that stood up and several others were more than acceptable but still stood up more than I wanted. The checking process didn't take long and I squeezed all of the rivets absolutely flush to the spar.
