Spent a couple of hours reading directions and looking at the plans. The directions discuss countersinking the spars for nutplates. What if I do the wrong holes? What / How could I fix that? I wonder how expensive a new set of spars could be. Calm down, do it just like the plans describe..... OK, OK, I can do this. After setting up the countersink and adjusting and practicing on several scrap pieces I was ready. It is amaizing how fast you can move from hole to hole when it is all set up correctly. I predrilled the holes to the correct size with a piece of angle clamped to the back side. This provided a pilot for the countersink so the holes would not wallow out. Works perfect. The down side was that the holes side to side are not the same so I could not use the same holes for the other side.
