Brief Description: Part 1 Finish the hard rivets and flip the canoe!
George returned today as promised. We banged out the final rivets along the top (lower) edge. All of these rivets are dash 4 and require a heavier hand than the little dash 3's. You can see in the first photo the notes drawn on the skin to make sure we put the right rivets in the right holes. We don't want to make any mistakes here; I believe that it's important to keep the firewall firmly attached to the rest of the craft. George operated the rivet gun and again did a superb job. So after a short celebration we planned the rolling of the fuselage. George is shown after the first 90 degrees. Exciting!!
