My flying buddy George came by today to help rivet the bottom floor rivets. I had been able to do a large portion of the sides and ribs in the fuselage but the bottom was going to require help. George is my experienced helper, fully trained and qualified (see wings). He's had the full 15 minute training course required of all the people who help rivet. We did the rear center section first and finished the rivets across the end and down the side with the curve. Since he was holding the bucking bar he had to be on his knees under the up-side-down fuselage. Trooper he is, he made it through until both sides were complete. At this point we swapped sides and he operated the rivet gun. We quickly went across the two main spar rivet rows and moved to the firewall. Time was running short so we had to pack it in for the evening. The best part was George said he could return tomorrow!
